In the forest. Lying on your back at peace. You see blue above...
clouds floating past. The branch of a tree traced across the sky.
The gentlest of breezes rustles your hair. The warmth of the autumn
sun on your cheeks. A single leaf falls from the branch and floats
to earth.. In the distance birds sing to one another. Smell the
rich earthy scent of your carpet of leaves. More leaves fall and
float down from the branches. Red. Yellow. Orange. You feel comfortable
and safe.
A butterfly flutters from flower to flower, each flower a different
colour. Imagine what it would be like to be that butterfly. As light
as air, fluttering like a leaf. Free to go wherever you choose.
Choose the colour of your flower. Drink the sweet nectar.. Smell
the perfume of each flower...
The golden sun warms your resting body. Comfortable on your bed
of soft, warm leaves. Feel yourself sinking into the softness. Warmth
all through your body. As if a light is shining from inside you...
Animals come to drink at the lake. At first they are shy and nervous,
but soon they trust you. Their noses and whiskers twitch. They look
at their own reflections in the water. Watch the reflections shake
as they lap up a cool drink. Touch their soft fur. They're not scared
now...
Everywhere there is something happening. Ants exploring. Birds singing.
Animals drinking. Peaceful.
In the forest. Lying, at peace. On your back...
